FAVE and VOTE on this GORGEOUS image of the Sandhill Crane and it's twin offspring!! What a rare find!!! I love these cranes. We live near their annual migratory path, so in the latter months of winter, we can travel about 45 minutes and see hundreds of them. They are beautiful birds and my favorite thing to do is to park the car...turn the engine off...roll down the window a tad..close my eyes and just listen the the continuous and distinctive calls of so many birds congregated into a two mile square area. Thanks for this!
